Fascinated by the mineral world, Anatole Mélot uses sculpture, photography and video to capture the aura of menhirs, inviting us to encounter these stones in a majestic natural setting. He is also interested in abandoned mining areas, where he dives in with his camera in search of the traces left by human activity in this landscape.

Charlotte Lavandier works particularly with sculpture and installation. Through her work, she points to elements of reality that she sees as tangible symptoms of contemporary forms of oppression that are insidiously expressed in our intimacy. Between frontality and metaphor, her practice is conceived as a piece of evidence. She pays particular attention to spatial elements that are banal yet no less cruel. She tends to draw spectators away from their contemplative posture, placing them in a position of physical and/or mental discomfort that creates an imbalance conducive to questioning.
